Marginalized writers

And Paul said:
"I was tempted to make a list of bloggers I know who fall into those categories, it would have been easier."
and I realized that I wanted to write about bloggers that write even before he said that. It was first just a feeling, more like a tickling on the top of my fingers. But writers that started by blogging do not always get published, but there are few resources out there.

I bought recently the hard copy of Ouroboros, a magazine that published recently some of my favorite poet bloggers. You can read the poetry on-line and, if you like it, I suggest that you buy the hard copy. Now, the printing is of excellent quality and one of the features of Ouroboros is that it brings together visual arts and poetry, and that definitely looks better in print than on-line. The editors, Jo and Christine, are also bloggers that write (or writers that blog).

Another resource is Juliet's e-zine Bolts of Silk. She brought together some amazing authors from all around the world, so go and check it out...

And last, but not least Paul . Now go check his site, and if you really like his poetry you should consider buying his book. Some of the poems in The Puzzle Box are found on his blog. The book though is not just the sum of his poems but a story ...

Now, I'll end here. And since you all know that I really do not know how to write reviews, I hope you are going to appreciate the effort. At least...

I appreciate the effort indeed and the flattery, (although all the pieces in the book have been removed from the blog.) Thankyou, you are wonderful.

Annemarie, thanks for the shout out! And for showing interest in ouroboros. We have found several poem for the magazine through blogging, although most are sent to via email. We appreciate that you purchased a copy of the magazine too.

You might like to check out Duotrope Digest. It's a listing of e-zines and print magazines that publish poems and short stories. Most, however, prefer poems that have not been seen on one's personal blog. Really, there are many avenues for publishing your work. Even self publishing, as I believe The Puzzle Box was.

Paul,
You are most welcome.
But,so you know the rule xxv that guides the behavior of an elegant lady states: never use flattery when a man is involved. The book is indeed more than the sum of all its pieces ...

Christine,

you and Jo note :"You'll love the quality of the paper and the vibrant colors of the print edition" . And I did.
Thank you for the resource. I think that at this point the main obstacle is in my mind.
