England- the new colors

I had recently finished to read two books that , in my opinion at least, painted new colors over small- town Great Britain. To read them was a challenging , pleasant trip beyon classic english literature and the rainy "proper London" images...

"Walking on chalk" is written with care and grace. It has very well written passages successful in carrying the reader into the atmosphere of the story. When Karen becomes acquainted with Ern- an intriguing "chalk artist", her outlook on life seems to change and with her we discover the fascinating stories beyond these apparently dull small-town people.
Now, if you read this blog, you know how poor I am with reviews so I did repeat myself , but I am looking forward to a new book. And if you'd like a preview you can find one on Kiersty Boon's website.

The Death of Bunny Munro is the story of a sales man discovering, in the final, that the light at the end of the tunnel does not have the shape of Kiley Minogue's golden lame pants. Instead of a review I'll just point out that the book was recommended by a friend that does not like Nick Cave as a singer - so one can speculate his writing is even better. If you like Nick Cave that shall be one more reason to read the book.

Kiersty Boon is my favourite writer in the whole world. I like Nick Cave's music but I haven't read this book yet. I'm looking forward to it though.

Thank you so much! I'm so pleased you enjoyed it. If you want to be on the reading panel for the sequel, let me know and I'll send you the password when it's up and running. Thank you again, that was a lovely surprise to wake up to!

@Paul :),
Nick Cave- you need to tell me if you did like it...if someone that did not like the music, like the book, I wonder how a person that like his music will react to the book
@Kiersty
Yeap, I'd like to be able to preview the next book, if you do not mind to have a lady with a crazy schedule and writes poor reviews...
